Data and Cyber Security Smartcomm have recently migrated to Microsoft 365 meaning the configuration of Data Loss Prevention policies to: o Prevent unauthorized use and dissemination of sensitive data such as banking and any other personal information; o Monitor and protect sensitive information in Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc); o Enforcement of document compliance policy to only allow sensitive documents to be accessed and modified by the author, person who last modified the document and site collection administrators; o Help users learn how to stay data compliant without interrupting their workflow by sending emails to users when DLP detects an action that does not comply with policy; o All M365 access has MFA enforced by Conditional Access; o All M365 non modern auth blocked outside of Australia; o Send notification emails to manager; and o Enable production of reports to display user activity. • Configuration of Azure Information Protection policies to: o Classify data to be monitored based on sensitivity; and o Encrypt data to prevent unauthorized access outside of the organization.
